Dayton!

Once again this year the Southeastern DX Club will host its Dayton DXers Dinner at the Stockyards Inn on Thursday, May 15, 2008 beginning with cocktails at 7:00PM.  The address of the Stockyards Inn is 1065 Springfield St. in Dayton.  We have the Gold Room reserved which can accommodate 40-45 members and some guests.  To register for our dinner (only) please email me by clicking to let me know that you are coming and if you will be bringing a guest.  The deadline for making your reservation is Monday, May 12.

This is a very informal get-together with no speeches, just a good time for DXers to meet and have a casual dinner (with individual checks) to start off the Dayton Hamvention Weekend.

Click HERE for an up-to-date listing of the members who will be joining us at the Dinner.  If you're on the list and don't want to be, click to email me. If you're NOT on the list and wish to be, click to let me know that, too!

Guy W4GBU created a spreadsheet as an aid to marking up your DXCC entries.  The spreadsheet is up to date with the latest DXCC list.  You'll need Microsoft Excel (or something that reads MS Excel files) to access this.  If you need it, there's a free Excel viewer you can get by clicking HERE.

Click HERE to download Guy's spreadsheet and then use your browser's PRINT button to print your copy.  Thanks, Guy!

    73,

The Southeastern DX Club was formed in 1958 by a group of hams in the Atlanta, Georgia area recognizing a growing need to supplement regular radio clubs with a specialized club for DXers.  If you have any interest in DX'ing drop by one of our club meetings and check us out.  We normally meet the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm.

Many of us get together to eat before the meeting and any details regarding this will be posted on our reflector which anyone can join.  Click HERE for details on subscribing to the reflector.
