5V7HL Togo Ed Richmond W4MGN (now W4YO) operated from Africa, between 1979 and 1983.  In the summer of 1980 he operated, among other places, as a guest at the station of Ted 5V7HL in Lome, Togo.  Ted was a missionary in the country.
