8Q7AF & 8Q7AG Maldives Carl, WB4ZNH and XYL Martha WN4FVU operated using these two calls for a few days in February 1979.  This was the first trip made by Carl and Martha where they actually took a beam antenna along.  This is before Carl understood how DXpeditions could be hounded and used by Net Controls and List takers but, by the end of these few days of operation, Carl and Martha had been "educated".  This led to Carl's lifetime campaign against "List Operations".  About 5,000 QSOs were made by this operation.
