Navassa Island

Dave Johnson, WA4SSU (now K4SSU and a former SEDXC President), Myron WØZH, Tony ADØP, Joe NØWL, Sy K2SA, Miles W2PAU, Joe W2ORA and Jon W6OIG embarked on a DXpedition to one of the (then) most-needed DXCC countries (Navassa Island) late in 1978.
The operation was from 26 November to 3 December, 1978. The team made 22,303 QSOs on SSB and CW. The Southeastern DX Club was recognized on the printed QSL for their support. See KC4DX for an earlier (1972) SEDXC trip to this rare identity.
