Max has only been back home for a couple of days from his first DXpedition, making this a perfect opportunity to hear fresh, firsthand impressions while the experience is still very much top of mind. At just 21 years old, Max is the youngest member of the 3YK team, and were sure hell have some fascinating stories, insights, and behind-the-scenes experiences to share. Rather than a formal PowerPoint-style presentation, this meeting will take the form of a roundtable discussion. Our hope is that this more informal format will allow for a deeper and more engaging conversation about what its really like to be part of a major DXpeditioneverything from preparation and travel to operating, team dynamics, and the challenges and excitement of the experience. Come ready with plenty of questions, because this should be a fun and memorable evening for everyone interested in DXing, contesting, and the future of our hobby. In addition to his on-air accomplishments, Max is employed by the ARRL as an Education and Learning Support Specialist, where he is helping to support and encourage learning and growth within amateur radio. He is also a member of the Caribbean Contesting Consortium, Northern California DX Foundation, and the Yankee Clipper Contest Club. Were also especially pleased to share that Max has joined SEDXC. Were hopeful that his enthusiasm, energy, and involvement will help us continue to grow and strengthen youth participation within the club and the broader DX community. This is a meeting you wont want to miss!
