Program:  IOTA and challenging islands Presented by: Cezare Trifu VE3LYC Our program speaker Thursday is Cezar Trifu, VE3LYC.  Cezar is an avid DXer operating on CW, SSB, as well as digital modes, from 160 to 6m.  He prefers CW and is a member of the First Operators Club (FOC).  Cezar organized IOTA expeditions to 24 new and rare IOTA references from the Arctic to Sub-Antarctic regions of which 13 were as sole operator.  Cezar was the IREF IOTA Expeditioner of the Year 2018 Award winner and the Russian Robinson Club�s IOTA Expeditioner of the Year 2017/18 Award winner.  He serves as the Operations Manager and the Deputy General Manager of the IOTA Programme. Cezar will enlighten us about the IOTA program and talk about some of his adventures in activating some rare ones like TX�A/TX�M, VE3LYC/KLY - NA 150 and K7TRI.
